→ (Waku Ghin) ←Waku Ghin Restaurant Info
It's a memorable birthday dinner for us. I'd recommend this restaurant to others for a special occasion.
I'd read many many reviews before chose this restaurant,but.....still so indecisive to make a final decision. One of review is~~~it's not necessary to have all the luxurious ingredients in succession made less special to him/her~~~Wow~~~~!!! After had experienced,I'd say....if you ask Asians to pay S$400 a head before 17% tax and service charge and alcohol, water,I think this kind of level is equal to the price.
The price is wallet damage,but.....it's worth every penny.
Deeply appreciated all the staff here, all of them are prompt & friendly. They pay attention to everything and good at interacting with diners. Really had a good time here.
4 teppanyaki rooms over there.
★★Sparkling water S$20 per head(free flow)★★
Heart beat faster!! Wow~~~~~~~~
Chef explained to us that all kinds of ingredients.....actually,I was busy to press the shutter, just ignored his explanation. ('cos I do believe that all of them are topnotch)
Must try 2008 pierro for Tetsuya's
Recommended by sommelier. Suit me to a T....fruity!!
( Flan of oyster wiht Puree of bacon and spinach)~~~~it's velvety and oyster was so plump.
After had finished this dish,I believed that our first journey with Waku Ghin would be so mind-blowing!!
(Marinated botan shrimp with sea urchin and oscietra caviar)
The most unforgettable dish.(Tetsuya's signature)
It's absolutely amazing, mixed all together.....when you send the spoon into ur mouth,it can create an illusion of heaven at that moment. Fantabulous~~~~~~~
( Grilled Anago with Foie Gras, confit of zucchini and sanshou)
Unforgettable dish as well!! I presumed it would be too rich,but....it wasn't. Of course, never exprienced such combination of flavours before.
(Australian abalone with fregola and tomato)
It's our first time to have an abalone with Italian flavour...amazing!!
The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, tomato sauce added a good flavour to the abalone.
( Braised Canadian lobster with tarragon)
Lobster meat is succulent and has a good texture,it's served with baguette. I enjoyed too much baguette with its sauce....Out of this world!!
(Charcoal grilled fillet of tasmanian grass-fed beef with Tetsuya's wasabi mustard)
(Japanese Ohmi wagyu from Shiga prefecture with wasabi and citrus soy)
Marbled wagyu just melt-in-ur mouth
Wagyu was cooked perfectly medium rare. Wrapped with wasabi and garlic chips and spring onion.....OH!! I can die for this!! Really~~!!
Final savory course was consomme with rice and snapper
Best of the best Ochazuke in my life~~~
Gyokuro
It must be expensive!! Unlike normal tea, like consomme soup.
We were ushered to the other room for dessert, where has a good view of the Marina Bay. Enjoyed fountain show too much~
(Salad of raspberry with wasabi and granita of honey, vinegar)
Montblanc
Birthday surprise from Waku Ghin......Tk u so much!!
Wow~~~~~~~ My dearest hubby, wish you a health life in your middle age!
So lucky,Wakuda Tetsuya was in Sin. He is so warm& kind,he came to say ''hello'' to every diner. We talked about... it wasn't possible to get a reservation at Tetsuya's Sydeny when we visit AUS last time-------He deeply apologized for that, so sweet!! Well,it's not your fault,it's hard to get a reservation, even Tom Cruise was turned down as well. ..I know I know...
Coffee and Peiti Fours
Coffee was too good~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
