デパートのLa rinascenteの最上階にある。日曜日、月曜日お休みしてるレストランが多くて、食べる所が見付からず、ここに来てみたら。。。。。。当たった～～～大当たり～～～。好きになった～～、次回ミラノに行く時あれば、又ここに絶対来るわ～

All the dishes were so tasty,so authentic....but,I got dizzy spells during the dinner time!! Al fresco seat was pretty good,but......we encountered passive smoking.

Woe~~~It was a struggle to choose a restaurant for our anniversary dinner in Venice this time! Many fine dining restaurants got their ''Summer holiday'' in entire August. Well~~I know~~it's European style!! Thankfully,I got a table at Met restaurant at the last minute. Fortunately,it was a right choice.

When we arrived,we were ushered by a young waiter who speaks very good English and so courteous!!

He explained the menu for us,but we didn't really listen to his explanation. Because,there are only two different kinds of tasting menu. One of the set menu is traditional style and the other one is the comtemporary one. We're interested in comparing the flavour,so we took one of each!! And,my hubby had wine pairing to accompany each dish,but I am not strong enough to have wine pairing. I asked the sommelier if he could just choose a glass of white wine for me. He brought one promptly for me to taste it and it was the fruity one. I like it!!

Overall,we really enjoyed every single dish. Fabulous~~~~Couldn't be better!! Esp. we love all the dishes came with tomato in every form. The chef here appeared to be in good commond of tomato!

Met restaurant is really deserved to get the honor of Two-Michelin-Stars. We're so pleased to have our anniversary dinner with them.

Also,would like to pay all the staff a well-deserved compliment. Their attentive and impeccable service made us feel so warm and welcome. I love all the staff's smile as well. So greateful to everything that they did for us. Highly Recommended!!

Florian ←(HP)

Caffe Florian is the oldest cafe in Venezia. We spent about 90 min. indulging ourselves with good music here. Although they charge 6 Euro per person for the orchestra,I thought here worth coming. Wonderful music is priceless,isn't it?

Living in Asian countries where you can't find such as faboulous place to have a cup of tea so often!

I LOVE here!

Harry's Bar ←　（HP)

You can't just pop into Harry's Bar for the dinner. Have to make a reservation in advance,but....if you just want to have a glass of origianl Bellini here,they do accept walk-in.

I'd read some bloger's reviews before my first visit. Most of reviews mentioned about the price is expensive,even some people said: the prices they charge are criminal,rip off. . Well~~~~~ after have visited,I didn't get any surprises at all. If you come to Singxxxxe and have the same dishes,you'll definitely need to pay more!!

When we arrived,we were ushered by a gentleman in a ''white tuxedo''. Yes!!a smart casual attire is required here,most of diners are so well-dressed but,some are not  ! They're so under-dressed. Unfortunatly,the under-dressed groups are Asian people. Well, it didn't concern me anymore,just think about they shouldn't bring it down to a level of the restaurant.

All the service staff here are courteous and efficient. It was our first time and we completely had no idea what we should order. Olny we heard here was the birthplace of Carpaccio,we were really looking forward to having it.

I asked for the recommendations,and then their staff gave us a appropriate of advice. Finally we had 3 dishes from a la carte menu consisting of Carpaccio,Tagliarelle Amatriciana,Ribeye Steak and one lemon cream dessert. All the dishes are so tasty. BRAVO!! The advice couldn't be faulted,we really enjoyed too much for the first dinner in Venice.

A truly memorable dinner time!!!

Think of '' British Cuisine '',probably.......'unpalatable','Yuck' something like this kind of expressions are arisen in your mind.

So,we decided not to splash out on eating in London. But,how can you miss the high tea when you come to UK.

I asked my younger brother  to arrange a high tea for me!!

He's been living in UK for long long .....long time. He became a Londoner indeed!!

It was a successful high tea meeting! All the finger sandwiches were so yummy & peach macaron was out of this world~~~I still remember the taste!

According to my travel guides...Elton John has been patronizing this Fish & Chips restaurant for long time. You may bump into him here..

Fortnum & Mason is located in front our hotel......

The scone here was simple but, super yummy~~~~
