Belated Birthday Dinner @ Catalunya－小星星(^_−)−☆星國美食記

I had my belated Birthday dinner at Catalunya last Saturday. We made a quite early reservation,so it wasn't too difficult to get a table.

The view here is so brilliant. We enjoyed the view in all its aspects. I suppose Catalunya is the best position to watch the light show of MBS. BTW,I always think about a restaurant with good view doesn't serve great food,but...after have experienced Tong Le & Catalunya,I changed my mind. Catalunya serves equally excellent meals.

We'll definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Service: To be honest,I didn't expect too much of good service here,but....I was wrong!! The service here is nothing pretentious,snooty and intrusive!! All the staff are so courteous and always pay attention to every table. ''Excellent''!!

What a life-like presentation~

(the menu says~one portion(a half pig) is for 2~3 people. I think it may be good for 4 people!)

In order to appreciate this piggy made the final sacrifice for my Birthday,we really made an effort to eat up all. Didn't want to waste food!! The waiter was surprised at we could finish it. He showed us a frank smile and said: it was the first time I've seen two people could finish a half pig. Ha ha ha~~~

This suckling pig was very tasty,it wasn't as gamey as I've thought.

Wood roasted pineapple!

Sour & Sweet taste balanced the oily meat!! You must order this to accompany your piggy!!

Warm Creamy Almond Tart~

(must order) I can only come back for this! Almond cream wasn't too sweet and the taste of almond wasn't too strong causing you feel cloying.

I really had a happy belated birthday with Catalunya this time. They prepared a small birthday cake for me,but....I wasn't able to have another cake in my stomach.

I really appreciated their kindness,and didn't want to waste this cake! So,I asked for packing it. Probably it was the first time,the customer wished to take out something. Even they don't have any standard boxes,they still made an effort to pack it like this.
