It was so challenging for two foreigners to grope for the obscure location of Flutes at the Fort. If you don't pay attention, you might just miss the car park entrance.
The restaurant provides free valet parking service,you can visit their website to check the details,and I don't think they 've got another entrance,so even you come here by taxi,you'd better ask taxi driver to drop you off at the entrance of car park.(Pls refer to my photos for entrance).
I heard that''Flutes at the Fort'' is an Australian restaurant,but......I've got no idea about ''Australian Cuisine'' really!! Since we have tried ''Salt Grill & Sky Bar''. I realized Australian cuisine isn't too much different from Western Cuisine.
We came here for weekend brunch,and found it gave the excellent value for money. 3 courses set brunch priced at $38++,our eyes were bigger than our belly,we took 3 courses and add Flute's taste platter.
I think ''Flutes's taste platter was the highlight of today's brunch. It's worth paying additional $12++ per person. And .........Eggs Bendict came second! The poached eggs were so rich and not overdone,so the yolk was nicely runny as I'd imagined. Super Yummy!!
Of course!! We weren't able to finish all .......so,asked for packing our burger.
Overall,here is a good place to come, it has a relaxed ambience,and.....service is not intrusive. We may come back for their dinner menu someday. To be honest, the food here is nothing outstanding,but...............I think it's not below average,and.....I'm quite happy to pay the money for their attentive service and relaxed ambience.
