It was my second time I had been to Aoki.
I tried the lunch set with my friends before and went back to try their ''お任せ''set with my
''breadwinner''
Japanese like having a counter seat where u can watch the chefs how to handle their knife to many kinds of fish. & they do introduce u the seasonal ingredient to help u enjoy real JP cuisine. Each season has different kinds of good taste of ingredient. It is quite hard to enjoy the secret of nature in Singapore.
There are only ....hot,hotter,hottest,rainy seasons here.
As usual,I want to end my meal with a great dessert. But,I am a bit choosy
I found the desserts,which often tends to be something made of mango or melon at JP restaurants. I turn up my nose at them,really.
When this dessert''bento'' was delivered to me. I was rest assured!! I loved custard pudding with peach sauce which was rich,creamy,but not let u to fed up. & ''sakura'' ice cream had a lovely flavour....I wished there was more,but.........YES!! Good dessert comes better in a ''just'' portion.
I can just only come back to ''AOKI '' for these two desserts,but....unfortunately I think only the '' plum jelly '' is fixed one,the others are changed randomly.
